After a long day exploring Providence

We are now resting in the hotel after a long day exploring Providence. Tomorrow we're of to New York, we can't wait! It's going to be so awesome!!
Tooday we visited the Westminster Arcade (also called as The Providence Arcade) which is a historical shopping center. It was the first shopping mall in the USA, built in 1828!
The shopping mall was closed 2008 in preparation for a major renovation of the mall's interior and it still remains closed unfortunately so we couldn't enter the mall.

We all love animals so we of course visited the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence.
This zoo houses over 1000 anilmals of more than 130 species. The zoo is named after the founder of Providence, Roger Williams.
The zoo was founded as early as 1872 and it's considered as one of the oldest zoo in the nation.
Most of the species found in this zoo are rare. Major exhibits in the zoo is: North Amercia, Fabric of Africa, Tropical America, Marco Polo Trail, Australasia and Farmyard.
